Founded on 11 November 1961 by Mr. Ahmad Tarakji, MEE (Middle East Establishment for Industrial Equipment) was established to introduce world-class industrial technologies to the Middle East and connect regional manufacturers with leading European machinery suppliers.

Over six decades, MEE has grown from a machinery representative into a trusted industrial partner, delivering feasibility studies, turnkey projects, engineering consultancy, and complete manufacturing solutions. Under the leadership of the second generation, Mr. Tayssir Tarakji, the company expanded across the Middle East, building long-term partnerships with globally recognized technology leaders including Rieter, Muratec, Luwa, USTER, Graf, Bräcker, Jakob Müller, and many others.

With participation in more than 100 industrial projects, MEE has supported investors through factory planning, technology selection, production optimization, after-sales services, and long-term industrial development. Following the expansion of its consultancy activities into Egypt, the company successfully assisted numerous textile manufacturers in establishing modern spinning mills and competitive production facilities.

In 2019, the third generation, Mr. Homam Tarakji, joined the business, bringing a modern perspective while continuing the family's commitment to technical excellence and trusted partnerships.

As industrial consultancy became a core focus, ConsultLead was established as the specialized consulting division of the family business. Today, ConsultLead provides strategic advisory services for textile manufacturing, industrial investment, technology transfer, and operational excellence.

Backed by more than 60 years of experience, three generations of leadership, and a legacy of successful industrial projects, ConsultLead continues to help investors transform ambitious ideas into sustainable, globally competitive manufacturing businesses.
